The Scranton Prep graduate won with a triangle choke at 3:10 of the third round to improve his record to 9-3. The match featured plenty of work on the ground with Massenzio (11-4) carrying a good part of the action. The New Jersey native continued to attack the legs of Stann and managed takedowns in each of the first two rounds. In the third round, Stann was able to stay on his feet and hammer Massenzio with punches. Massenzio finally got the takedown but Stann locked in the triangle choke and Massenzio tapped.
