To all of those that joined our Memorial Day Campaign to increase the grant funding for Hire Heroes USA – thank you!!! Our goal was to see more than 30,000 new people support the CODE Facebook page and help HHUSA increase their grant from $20,000 up to $50,000. And boy did you answer your Call of Duty – the 30,000 figure was shattered by Sunday afternoon and that number continues to grow. And that’s not all – recognizing the impact that HHUSA has in getting our veterans back to work and their dedication to helping us raise awareness for the unemployment issue –Activision’s CEO, Bobby Kotick, has also committed to personally donating an additional $50,000 to HHUSA from his own resources.

In total – Hire Heroes USA will now receive $100,000 between CODE and Kotick to fund their employment training programs. Thank you again for all your support – and we encourage you to tell others to join our Call of Duty Endowment community. No veteran should return home from one battle, only to be thrust into another…each of them deserves a rewarding and fulfilling career upon their return!
