Success Story: Hired Veteran, Mr. Brian Tarte Hire Heroes USA is happy to report that Veteran Brian Tarte has accepted a position as an Area Manager with Amazon.com, and his first day was June 13th, 2011. Brian signed up with Hire Heroes USA in July 2010 and has received resume assistance, job search assistance, mentoring, and help with interviewing skills and formulating his value proposition. Some words from Brian: Words cannot express how thankful I am for Hire Heroes USA and Sara Trask, the one who has essentially coached/guided me through this whole process. My fiance and I are extremely happy/excited for my new career which is in Phoenix where she will have unlimited career options as well. Because of Sara and the Hire Heroes USA organization, we can begin a new chapter in our lives and couldn't be happier. On another note, I would like to point out that the career information rec eived through Hire Heroes is much more in depth and useful than the information received during my TAP/TAMPS courses when separating from the Marine Corps 2 years ago. Not to discredit the men and women who work very hard to put the TAP/TAMPS classes together, but the skills I have honed or developed and the help I have received cannot simply be done in a week's time. If it is not already being done, I think it would be a great idea for Hire Heroes to have a representative for each region to appear at the separation classes on base. This is an organization that every veteran deserves to know about!
