Hired Veteran- Ms. Elizabeth McGehee

We are thrilled to announce that Elizabeth Beth McGehee was hired by the State of Missouri Division of Unemployment as an Unemployment Agent. Her first day of work was April 25th, 2011. Ms. McGehee registered with Hire Heroes USA in January, 2011 and received assistance with her resume, cover letter, interviewing skills and job search assistance from the Hire Heroes USA staff. Additionally, Elizabeth was featured on our monthly “Veteran Spotlight” Newsletter.

Hire Heroes USA caught me up to date on the current formats and trends in resumes. They also showed me a great way to sell my skills and self in just the cover letter. Even though I didn't receive and calls or interest after my veteran spotlight it still helped me look at all I had accomplished and gave me the little boost I needed to keep going. You always made me feel like I wasn't alone in this and that I had hope.
