As a way to honor her brother who was killed while serving in Afghanistan, Megan went skydiving every year on the anniversary of his death. On one of these instances, she met her now-husband, who was friends with a soldier who served alongside Megan’s brother Logan. “On the day we met, we jumped out of a plane together,” Megan said. After they got married, her husband was deployed to Afghanistan, and as soon as he got back, Megan came to Hire Heroes so she could apply her skills and help to support her growing family.
