Washington Vets to Tech
The 16-week Washington Vets to Tech certificate program offers comprehensive education, training, and professional development in computer science and information technology. It is tailored for active-duty service members in their last six months of service, veterans with an honorable or general discharge, and spouses of active-duty military or eligible veterans. Sessions commence in August, January, and May.
The Washington Vets 2 Tech (WaV2T) program provides three specialized pathways to support careers in the technology industry:
- Server and Cloud Application (focus on networking fundamentals, operations, troubleshooting, security, cloud computing, hardware)
- Cloud Application Development (focus on software development, database, data structures and algorithms, and AI)
- Cybersecurity Administration (focus on networking fundamentals, operations, troubleshooting, security, cloud computing, and hardware)
Participants receive face-to-face instruction over 16 weeks at our Lacey campus and JBLM classrooms in Washington State. Transitioning service members are offered no-cost housing on their main campus, with affordable housing options available for veterans and military spouses.
