Who we are

The Hire Heroes USA Alumni Program is a community of professionals who have completed our program and started their civilian careers. Members will join a supportive professional network focused on advancing their careers and giving back to military families. We understand your career doesn’t stop with your first job out of the military, and we aim to assist you in developing your career while collectively helping others in the military community find success.

Like all Hire Heroes services, joining our Alumni Program is free.

After successfully moving through our program for clients and obtaining employment, you will receive an invitation to join automatically. You just have to click the opt-in button.

No. All activities are 100% free!
Your career doesn’t stop after finding that first job. We want to assist you in developing your career and passions.
There is no application process to become an Alumnus. Your status will be automatically verified by the invite that comes from our system. If you choose to volunteer with us, there is an application process to best match your skill set to our clients’ needs.
Hire Heroes USA alumni will have special access to our job board, events, training courses, certifications, webinars and continued support from Hire Heroes volunteer mentors and staff. Alumni will also have access to exclusive events covering topics curated for alumni as well as our private Linkedin group. We’re always looking for ways to support our Alumni in their career development. Do you have an idea for a service or resource? Reach out to us!
Anyone can be a volunteer, regardless of veteran status. The Alumni Program is only open to Veterans, Military and Military Spouses who have successfully moved through the Hire Heroes program. Alumni also have access to additional resources to assist with continued career development.
The more sharing and collaboration, the better. Alumni participate in two ways: those looking to advance their careers and those helping others to succeed. We have a variety of ways to get engaged depending on your specific needs and interests. Tune in to our quarterly newsletters or reach out to find our more!
Our alumni are located all across the country. As such, most of our resources and events are virtual and accessible anywhere. We will share in-person opportunities around the U.S. as they become available.
