By attaining Charity Navigator’s highest possible rating again in 2017, the national nonprofit has reinforced its continued commitment to donors and the clients it serves and, in the process, established itself as one of the highest-rated charity organizations in the country.
In a letter, Charity Navigator President and CEO Michael Thatcher said, “Only 17 percent of the charities we evaluate have received at least three consecutive 4-Star evaluations, indicating that Hire Heroes USA outperforms most other charities in America.” He continued, “The exceptional designation from Charity Navigator sets Hire Heroes USA apart from its peers and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness.”
“Donors entrust us with funds to do one thing: help veterans and military spouses find jobs,” said Nathan Smith, Hire Heroes USA’s Chief Financial Officer and a Marine Corps combat veteran. “So that’s exactly what we do. At the same time, there is a basic premise we don’t run the ship aground. A third 4-Star rating from Charity Navigator reflects our duel commitment to the clients we serve and the donors who make our work possible.”
