The Military Editor

The Military Editor® Agency is a boutique ghostwriting and editing agency catering exclusively to military authors and military-related manuscripts. Founded by Brunella Costagliola, an Air Force spouse with over 15 years of experience in the publishing industry, the agency grew from her work with major publishers and literary agencies and her decision to pivot her career to serve the military community exclusively. By the military, for the military, our team of ghostwriters and editors—service members, veterans, military spouses, and military children—is personally trained by Brunella to uphold the high standards she guarantees every author. Our 6-month publishing internship provides a hands-on introduction to the world of publishing, giving interns practical experience in both the creative and business sides of the industry. Interns will learn basic creative writing skills, ghostwriting techniques for fiction and nonfiction, and the rules and standards of The Chicago Manual of Style. By the end of the internship, participants will have a well-rounded understanding of the publishing process and the skills needed to support authors from manuscript to market.
