Alpharetta, Ga., Sept. 15, 2015 – David Sneed, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Delta Private Jets, has joined the Board of Directors at Hire Heroes USA, a 501(c)(3) national nonprofit organization that empowers military members, veterans and spouses to succeed in the civilian workforce.

Sneed is a Captain on the Boeing 767 ER at Delta Air Lines. Prior to joining Delta Private Jets, he was the General Manager of Corporate Strategy and Business Development at Delta Air Lines, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Science from Middle Tennessee State University, and he earned an MBA in International Business from the Scheller College of Business at Georgia Tech.

Without effective transition assistance, many former military members could join the ranks of more than half-a-million veterans who are already unemployed (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, July 2015).
