• Always use Hire Heroes USA in full.
• Never abbreviate (e.g., HHUSA) or shorten (e.g., Hire Heroes)
• There are quite a few similarly named nonprofits, so the distinction would be greatly appreciated.

Client & Community References

• Use “veterans” and “military spouses” together unless context specifies otherwise.
• Avoid referring to military spouse clients as “their spouses” or simply “spouses.”

Organizational Role & Positioning

• Hire Heroes USA is not a job placement organization. Language should reflect empowerment and skill-building rather than job placement.
• Our focus is career readiness and support—including career coaching, resume assistance, mentoring, workshops, and other services that prepare veterans and military spouses for success in their job search.
