TradeForce is a program to help U.S. veterans start or expand a career in the skilled trades. TradeForce offers free thermography training provided by its U.S.Infrared Training Center (ITC). The need for more qualified thermal imaging experts, or thermographers, across industries continues to grow in areas such as electrical, building inspection, moisture remediation, HVAC, and gas inspection.
Veterans completing the training course requirements and a field assignment will receive a Level I – Fundamentals of Thermography Certification and are eligible to receive a FLIR E8 thermal camera to help start their skilled trade career. Carolina Career College helps veterans transition from their military career into a rewarding Information Technology career upon separation. ManpowerGroup and Rockwell Automation have partnered to create The Academy of Advanced Manufacturing is a 12-week, expense-free intensive program, designed specifically for veterans. AAM combines technical classroom training and hands-on lab experience with professional development and soft skills training necessary to become a highly trained Automation/Instrumentation/Controls Technician. AAM takes care of your expenses during the 12 weeks of certification training including lodging, food, computer, tools, software, hardware and transportation to and from the training facility in addition to a modest salary for 40 -46 hours of training each week.

Facility Solutions Group (FSG)
FSG’s Veteran Apprentice Training Program offers veterans an opportunity to get paid while receiving no-cost training as an apprentice electrician. Accepted candidates won’t just get a job. We want to see veterans take their military training to civilian life, where they can excel in a career. FSG’s veteran apprentices have access to in-house instructor-led courses in traditional classrooms or through ZOOM video distance learning. Our apprentice programs are four or five-year classroom and OJT training utilizing the NCCER curriculum.
