The Brewing and Distilling Center

For military veterans, the Brewing and Distilling Center (BDC) continues to provide opportunities to secure jobs and careers in the fun and rapidly-expanding beer and spirits industry. Utilizing your Post 911/GI Bill Educational Benefits, the BDC can expertly train you to gain entry-level positions or even start your own brewery or distillery. The BDC’s Professional Brewing/Distilling Technology (PBDT) certificate program has two options: 13 weeks at 12 hours weekly and 6 weeks at 28 hours weekly. Both options contain 154 contact hours and provide classroom technical education and hands-on skill-training, like brewing, distilling, laboratory work, flavor, and beer style tasting, among many other skills and experiences.
