Continue Your Mission and Inspire the Next Generation of Problem-Solvers
Your leadership, discipline, and problem-solving skills are needed in California classrooms. EnCorps offers two powerful ways to give back and use your STEM expertise to change lives for students in under-resourced communities.
EnCorps STEM Teachers Program® – Explore teaching in public schools through a free, flexible fellowship. Gain hands-on experience with guest-teaching opportunities (just 2 hours/week for 10 weeks), plus credentialing guidance, mentorship, professional development, and financial support for travel, fingerprinting, and scholarships. Open to those with a bachelor’s degree (2.5+ GPA), STEM industry or academic experience, U.S. work authorization, and residency in Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside, San Diego, or the SF Bay Area.
EnCorps STEMx Tutors Program – Prefer a fully virtual opportunity? Help close the math gap by tutoring middle school students in foundational math and pre-algebra. With only 26% of U.S. 8th-graders meeting math standards, your commitment of just one hour twice a week on Zoom between 12–5 PM PST can change a student’s trajectory.
Bring the same dedication you have shown in service to empowering the next generation in STEM.
