Warriors to Farmers, a unique training program offered to military veterans by Hope Farms in Houston, TX, is committed to expanding the ranks of successful urban micro-farmers on the Gulf Coast. Veterans can earn scholarships and stipend for completing their training, gain additional experience with an apprenticeship, and qualify for ongoing mentoring and business incubation for their new farm. New cohorts accepted each spring. Deadline to apply January 31 each year.
