New Jersey Innovation Institute

The Learning and Development Initiative (LDI) is a collaboration between the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and the New Jersey Innovation Institute (NJII) that provides skills-based learning through non-degree credentials, custom training, and workforce development programs. Established in 1880 and previously known as the Newark College of Engineering, NJIT is one of the nation’s leading polytechnic universities and a Top Military Friendly School committed to supporting those who serve and their dependents. Founded in 2014, the NJII combines the vast resources of the R1 level NJIT, strong industry and government relationships, and proven methods to drive innovation that includes a Defense division mobilized to identify, build, and implement innovative solutions that identify and operationalize advances in technology.
