The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is the state agency responsible for managing and conserving Texas’ natural and cultural resources, including over 80 state parks, historic sites, and wildlife management areas. Established in 1963, it oversees fishing and hunting regulations, operates Texas Game Wardens, and provides outdoor recreational opportunities for the public. TPWD proudly offers full time, part time, seasonal, internship, and volunteer opportunities. They recognize the value that veterans bring to the workforce and are dedicated to creating opportunities for those who have experience in the U.S. Armed Forces.
