Certified Veteran Employer Grants Program

Hire Heroes USA is offering a new opportunity for veteran- and military spouse-owned businesses through The Ripple Effect: Certified Veteran Employer Grants Program, powered by Ripple. With more than 1.6 million veteran-owned businesses employing nearly 3.2 million workers nationwide, many still lack the capital, training, and structured support needed to scale and sustain growth. Through this initiative, 25 veteran- or military spouse-owned businesses will each receive a $10,000 grant and structured support to help grow their teams and expand hiring within the military community. In addition to funding, selected businesses will participate in Hire Heroes USA employer training designed to build veteran-ready workplaces and provide tools and resources that support long-term hiring success.
Selected businesses will receive:
- $10,000 in growth capital
- Structured employer training from Hire Heroes USA
- Direct access to more than 20,000 military-connected job seekers
- Opportunities to participate in career fairs and employer spotlight features
- The ability to pursue recognition as a Hire Heroes USA Certified Veteran Employer
To qualify, eligible businesses must:
- Be at least 51% owned and operated by a U.S. military veteran or military spouse
- Be legally registered and operating in the United States
- Be compliant with local, state, and federal regulations
- Demonstrate a commitment to hiring veterans and/or military spouses within the next 12–18 months
- Businesses owned or operated by employees of Hire Heroes USA or Ripple, or their immediate family or household members, are not eligible to apply.
Applications must be submitted by May 1, 2026.
