O2O is a career skills program through the Institute for Veterans and Military Families that provides civilian career training, professional certifications and job placement support to transitioning service members, members of the Reserves or National Guard, veterans, and military spouses. TradeForce is a program to help U.S. veterans start or expand a career in the skilled trades. TradeForce offers free thermography training provided by its U.S.Infrared Training Center(ITC). The need for more qualified thermal imaging experts, or thermographers, across industries continues to grow in areas such as electrical, building inspection, moisture remediation, HVAC,and gas inspection.
Veterans completing the training course requirements and a field assignment will receive a Level I – Fundamentals of Thermography Certification and are eligible to receive a FLIR E8 thermal camera to help start their skilled trade career. Carolina Career College helps veterans transition from their military career into a rewarding Information Technology career upon separation. The Heavy Construction Academy of Brentwood, New Hampshire, trains and certifies men and women to operate nine state of the art pieces of heavy machinery. Claim Academy is a 9 week accelerated or 12 week immersion coding bootcamp that prepares veterans and their spouses for entry into the talent-hungry field of technology. Graduates of either the 9 or the 12 week program receive the same certifications upon graduation. The certifications and the curriculum are taught at industry-standards.
