How can Hire Heroes USA support an employer’s participation in the SkillBridge program?

The Skillbridge program, administered by Hiring Our Heroes, offers transitioning service members the opportunity to gain civilian work experience through internships and fellowships during their final months of military service. 

While Hire Heroes USA is not directly affiliated with SkillBridge, we support employers by helping to promote their approved SkillBridge opportunities. Once your organization is approved, you may advertise SkillBridge roles on our job board—reaching a highly engaged military-connected audience.

Are there fees for employers to use Hire Heroes USA services to connect with veterans and military spouses?

Yes. As a nonprofit organization, many of our employer services carry a modest fee to help offset operational costs and sustain our mission. Fee-based services include: Job Board access, Virtual Career Fairs, Targeted Email Campaigns, Employer Spotlight Webinars, and Employer Training & Advisory Services 

Pricing is transparent and available to view on our job board product page or on the product purchase page. We also offer no-cost ways to engage with our community, including: volunteering as a mentor or resume reviewer, and participating in Building Career Connections events.
